Mary Grace's mother called me one day telling me about how her daughter's original senior session with another photographer did not turn out how they hoped it would. Of course I felt terrible about her situation! Everyone deserves to have amazing senior picture to look back on, and they should also feel comfortable while getting them done! So I wanted to do everything I could to make sure that THIS senior session, would be the photo session of her dreams, and to make her feel like she was a super model! Mary Grace and I went out to Letchworth State Park, a sunflower field down the street from my house, and to a grass wheat field across my house for her pictures. After just a few minutes of working with her, she was laughing and having so much fun! By the end of her session, she told me she felt so comfortable and loved all of my ideas, and knew without even looking, that she would be 100x more satisfied with these new senior pictures. I'm just glad I was able to restore the excitment of getting senior pictures done, and provide her some amazing shots!
Justin's Senior Pictures
Justin Case you didn't know, Justin's middle name is Case. No i'm not kidding, this kid's first name and middle name create the perfect pun! And of course, neither one of us could stop sharing the cheesy puns we know with one another! Which in turn, helped to bring out that natural smile of his! He's a sweet boy who loves volunteering and is striving to become an eagle scout during his final year of high school!
Cameron's Senior Pictures
Cameron is such an enthusiastic, smart, and down-to-earth gal! She is full of positive vibes, and has such a zeal for life! I loved working with her and getting to see this amazing side of her! My favorite part of her session was when she pulled out her "Feminism is my favorite "F" word", showing of her sassiness and using her session to represent her beliefs! I wouldn't be surprised to see her running for office one day--look out world!
Chandler's Senior Pictures
No, he's not named after the famous Friends character, but he does love that show, and Chandler is one of his favorite characters! (Maybe a biased favoritism?) Chandler is a charismatic young man with a talent for football! It's been his favorite sport since he was a kid! We had a great time walking around his school's football field while he reminisced his past years there--he's certainly going to miss it! But he will have plenty of time to create new memories when he plays college football!
Savannah's Senior Pictures
Boxing, hockey, modeling, photography, you name it, this girl probably does it! Savannah (AKA Savi) is one of the most motivated young ladies I have met thus far. What ever she puts her mind to, she follows through! Speaking of minds, she's got a creative one! Once she told me what she wanted to include in her session, I ideas flowing instantly, and we were able to collaborate some amazing ideas! Her favorite part is when I brought her to this train graveyard; she loved the gritty feel to the whole scene. But she wasn't expecting me to bring out one surprise--smoke bombs! We had a blast taking pictures and hanging out!
Nate's Senior Pictures
Nate, what a character this kid is! He has a quick wit, a great sense of humor, and a knack for playing soccer! Nate couldn't have been more excited that it's his senior year, he's ready to move on to college and get a start on his life! And as excited as he is, Nate still can't believe that he's finally a senior! I'm sure we've all been there, but I know he will do just fine with whatever life throws at him!
Trinity's Senior Pictures
Trinity is such a bright, bubbly young woman! Trinity and I had so much fun exploring the Rochester/Penfield area for her pictures! She and I went down into the infamous abandoned subway near the famous Dinosaur BBQ, and walked around finding interesting pieces of art, and naturally some GIANT cobwebs and spiderwebs! Then, on the way to this sunflower field she had heard of, we stopped by a location on the canal and were able to get some B-E-A-Utiful lighting! After that, we searched for nearly ten minutes looking for her sunflower field. But unfortunately, her field hadn't grown in yet. So, we made due with the few flowers at hand! We collected some and created a little bed for her to lay in, I also held my camera in a small bunch of them to give the illusion that there were more than there actually were. And, luckily, there was a tall wheat field nearby, so we made a stop there before heading home. We had a great time bonding and taking pictures--and we stopped to grab some bubble tea when we were done!
Olivia's Senior Pictures
Liv is such an amazing and beautiful young woman, inside and out! I actually was able to be her Peer Counselor when she was entering high school and I was leaving--and now I had the opportunity to take her senior pictures! My, how time flies! She has grown so much and so gracefully! She's a talented singer and dancer, though she's too humble to ever admit it. We had a great time hiking around Letchworth State Park, and getting bitten by bug in a field. Okay, maybe the bugs weren't actually that fun, but it was totally worth is for the shots we got!
